Oao is pronounced “Wow!” The name comes from our Founder & Executive Chef JR Oao.

This standard bleeds into all aspects of what we dedicate ourselves to serving you! We will always source our fish from the freshest source, our sushi rice and dishes will always utilize ingredients from authentic, local, and/or organic sources (our rice vinegar comes straight from Japan for example), and we strive to train our staff to ensure your experience with us is nothing short of amazing.

In reality, we can always say that our food’s the best, but we recommend trying us out if you don’t believe us ;)

Short Answer; No. Good News however! We finally have our liquor license! With the addition of our license, we will no longer be a BYOB establishment effective 7/28/23. Wine and Sake are okay to bring however we will be charging a corkage fee of $35 PER bottle.

Happy Hour runs from 3 pm to 5 pm daily where you can expect better prices on a selected menu.
